Outlaw Sled Drags
Unfortunately, we have had to cancel the Sled Drags, because we did not have enough snow to create a safe track. The lake is literally glare ice; and we were not able to find an alternate snowy location.

ABOUT US
We are brothers, sisters, dads, mothers, grandpas, grandmas, husbands and wives, whose lives are all connected by one thing, THE OUTDOORS ! We all have an insatiable appetite for Mother Nature. We believe in giving back to our community and strengthening social ties.
At Slave Lake Snow & Mud Association we’re passionate about taking a trail system that already exists and turning it into something that everyone from our community can enjoy on a daily basis. And it’s all thanks to the support and feedback from users like you!
Vision
Mission
Our vision for the future is a groomed and maintained trail from Slave Lake to Canyon Creek. With this trail system people can enjoy a nice weekend or weekday cruise with their families and friends without the worry of impassible obstacles.
The trail system will be maintained and patrolled by members of the Slave Lake Snow & Mud Association with three goals in mind:
-
Sustainable environmental trail development.
-
Outdoor Education .
-
Membership trail pass enforcement.
In the future we hope to develop a trail system that will have rest stop areas as well as a cabin or clubhouse available to all members. Eventually our long term goal is to extend our trail system south to Swan Hills that will connect the communities of Whitecourt and Fox Creek. We want to make our community an Alberta ATV and snowmobile destination.
Our mission as the Slave Lake Snow & Mud Association is to create and maintain an off-road club that will include but not be limited to trail creation, trail maintenance, trail patrol and bringing our backyard to all who wish to access and enjoy it.
